We breed top-quality Yorkshire Terriers. With over 25 years of experience, we've developed a specialized breeding program that prioritizes the well-being and happiness of our puppies.

We produce healthy, happy, and well-socialized Yorkies that will be cherished companions for years to come. Each puppy receives individual attention and care from the moment they are born. At Real Yorkies of NorCal, we believe in responsible breeding practices. Our dogs are known for their sound health with unique baby doll faces. We test all our breeding dogs for genetic health issues common to the breed, ensuring the healthiest possible puppies. We do not breed "teacup" Yorkies and only produce puppies that will mature to a healthy weight of 4 pounds or more.

We are located in Concord, CA, but can arrange for puppy transportation to any state by way of a lap nanny. Our puppies are sold as beloved companions and rarely with breeding rights.

My wife and I adopted an 8-week-old male Yorkie puppy we named "Duke" from Michelle at Real Yorkies of Northern California in Anderson, CA, in August 2021. It's been a wonderful experience. Michelle is an artist. Intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, and physically connected to her art of breeding and raising Yorkies. She doesn't run a "puppy mill." Upon arriving to take possession of Duke, I quickly realized he and his litter of brothers and sisters were Michelle's pride and joy, and she had made a great effort and taken great care to ensure the litter's well-being and readiness for adoption. When we got Duke home that afternoon, it was such a joy to watch a little puppy confidently explore his new world. Duke was very alert and understood the rules of the house pretty quickly. I credit Michelle's obvious love and professional skills with bringing him into the world and her nurturing for getting Duke off on the right paw. Duke has had no health issues and received his first set of shots with Michelle, who provided Duke's complete health records for us to present to our vet when he received his subsequent sets of shots. The vet was quite complimentary of the organization of Duke's health records. I feel this was another example of Michelle's professionalism, attention to detail, and her commitment to completing a successful adoption and transfer of ownership. I really appreciate and am grateful to Michelle and Real Yorkies of Nor Cal for providing my family with such a wonderful dog and hopefully many years of love and enjoyment. We have had our little Yorkie girl for four months now and we couldn't be happier. Michelle is a wonderful person who takes great care in breeding the best possible Yorkshire terriers and her time and effort show in the quality of her puppies. She is very communicative throughout the process and even sent me pictures of the puppies so I could see them. Through her advice I was able to set up the same type of environment that her puppies are raised in and when I took our little girl home she never had any problems with the transition. Michelle is not the type of breeder who sells you a puppy and then disappears. She is happy to be a resource for the life of your puppy and is available to answer your questions or concerns no matter when they pop up. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to add a healthy, happy Yorkshire terrier to their family.
